This 16A & 18A No. IL State Championship event will start on Saturday June 26. No gate fee. The 18A and 16A will play pool together and then separate into their own separate tournament. These pool play results will not count for seeding into the tournament.The tournament format may be subject to change if needed due to inclement weather. Pool play game lengths will be no new inning to start after 1 hour and 15 minutes and 1 hour and 20 minutes in bracket play. Pool play games can end in a tie. International tie breaker if game is tied in Bracket play (excluding Championship). Mercy Rule: 10 after 3 innings/ 8 after 4 innings/ 6 after 5 innings. Please have your team ready to play 30 minutes prior to scheduled game. A coin flip will determine Home Team in Pool Play. Higher Seeded Team will be the Home Team in Bracket play. Bracket Seeds are already pre-determined by USSSA National Ranking Points as of June 21. For an update on weather info please call the Rockford Park District at 815-987-1644 for a recorded message. If you do not hear from the Tournament Director you must be at the fields ready to play at 30 minutes prior to your scheduled game time. Only ONE small personal cooler per person will be allowed into the Sportscore Complex. Water coolers will be provided in each team’s dugout.
