Cornshucker Baseball Tournaments Hosted by the Cornshucker Baseball Club (Mount Vernon Iowa) (All divisions played in the Cedar Rapids Iowa area and Mount Vernon) 11U 12U 13U 14U and 15/16U USSSA- Sanctioned Divisions Entry Fee $240.00 (all divisions) Gate Fee (all divisions) $160.00 (due before first game) NEW: Teams that participated in 2008 Cornshucker Baseball Tournaments receive a $25.00 gate fee discount! Early Bird Entry Fee $220.00 if received by February 15 2009 Tournament Information • Two divisions available: ‘A/AA’ and ‘Open’ Divisions - 8 teams per division per age group • 3 game guarantee – ALL teams advance to Championship rounds • Pool play followed by single elimination Championship Tournament • All USSSA Baseball rules will apply - extra hitter rule may be used • All games umpired by USSSA registered umpires and baseballs provided • Player medical insurance and liability insurance included in entry fee • Player trophies for 1st and 2nd place teams in each division Please make checks payable to: Cornshucker Baseball Club Inc. P.O. Box 64 Mount Vernon Iowa 52314 (Schedules will be posted to website and emailed 7 days prior to tournament date. Rules available on website) If weather interferes with tournament the tournament director reserves the right to change format. The tournament director reserves the right to combine ‘A/AA’ and ‘Open’ Divisions. Coaches will be notified prior to any changes in divisions. No refund of entry fee for teams after check is deposited unless weather cancels tournament minus a $75 admin fee.
