| Thank you for participating in the 16U “B” Northern Illinois USSSA State Championship Tournament to be held at Forest Hills Diamonds. 4 World Series berths will be awarded to the top 4 teams. Your team must be prepared to give me your decision and entry fee of $400 at the conclusion of this tournament on July 9. The 16U “B” East World Series is in Columbus IN and the West is in McKinney TX starting July 24. Your first game times are listed for Pool Play but all other times are subject to change if an error has been made in the bracketing. I will be posting tournament bracket play by Wednesday so go to ilusssa.com for those pairings. Bracket play will start at 8:45am on Sunday with finals scheduled at 2:30pm. There are 17 teams entered so there were an unequal number of games in Pool D and E. The top 2 seeds and lowest 2 seeded teams games were removed to make each team have the same number of games in each pool. Teams will be seeded into the Single Elimination tournaments. The 4th place teams in Pool D & E will play at 3pm on Saturday. All other teams will play either 8:30 am or 10am on Sunday. Championship game scheduled for 4:30pm and Consolation Championship at 4pm. If your roster has not been added to the usssa.com web site please do so. Print the roster from the web site get all required signatures and turn into the Diamond Director on Saturday prior to your first game. Instructions on adding your roster to usssa.com are printed on this web site under “Registration and Web Site Help”. All teams must have a copy of each player’s birth certificate upon request. Please go to usssa.com web site for Official USSSA Playing Rules. Gate fee is $4 Adult and $3 Senior citizen (65 & Over) $2 18 & under and children are free. There is no weekend pass. Only coolers with water and fruit will be allowed in the facility. There is a full concession stand with sandwiches snacks etc. No other food or drink may be brought into the Forest Hills Diamond Complex. Team Sponsor Plaques and All State Tournament Team awards will be awarded in this tournament. Note: If you are traveling I-90 you may want to find a different route. Traffic from the South Beloit tollbooth has been backed up to Belvidere and south to I-39 interchange. .Good Luck and thanks for playing USSSA this season! |
