USSSA Dudley NE Mirage Gold Summer College Showcase
All USSSA Tournaments run by the CT State Fastpitch Director
David Rocha are held at the finest complex in CT for Fastpitch Softball - The
Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Club in East Hartford CT directly in front of
Rentschler Field. The centrally located complex just off I-84 on Silver Lane
has 7 “fenced” fields (new for 2013) and the most incredible
clean and spacious bathrooms with locker room and shower access. Bubbas’ Food
and Ices is on-site for all events. Plus Fastpitch Nation provides the most
comprehensive on-site softball apparel merchandise and equipment store
anywhere outside of a national softball tournament. This showcase is co-hosted by the NE Mirage Gold and sponsored by
Dudley.
College Coaches from all Divisions Across the Northeast Invited to
Attend
- 7 Playing Fields at P&W Complex. New
for 2013 all fields will be fenced.
- Format of 5 Game Guarantee
over 3 days (Friday Saturday and Sunday).
- 4 Pool Games Friday and
Saturday (2 each day) and Single Elimination on Sunday for 16U and 18U
Divisions.
- A blind draw on Friday
determines the seeding on Sunday.

Fastpitch Nation Individual Skills Camp Offered to all
Players on Thursday July 25 before the Showcase
- Fastpitch Nation takes
their popular individual winter skills camp outdoors to the Mizuno USSSA
College Showcase.
- Session offered for
Pitchers Catchers Infielders and Outfielders.
- Pitchers will throw a
variety of pitches with speed and spin measured and recorded. They will also be
measured on home to first and home to home times. Pitchers will have an
opportunity to hit.
- Catchers will be measured
on pop-to-pop to second base and home to first and home to home running times.
They will perform additional skill drills. Catchers will have an opportunity to
hit.
- Infielders and Outfielders
will be measured on overhand throwing speed and home to first and home to home
running times. They will perform additional infield and outfield skill drills.
Infielders and Outfielders will have an opportunity to hit.
- All results will be
recorded and provided to the college coaches.
- Details and registration
procedures for individual sign ups will be available soon.
- Cost is $100 for one
session and $125 for two sessions per player.
- Registration will open for
that Jan 20 2013.

- COST: $695 if you pay by check and $715 if you pay by Credit Card- To
