This is THE State Championships for the state of NM and TXW - Open to NM and TXW registered teams only. It will be a 4 game guarantee and will be a 3 day event. There will be NO gate fees NO umpire fees and NO parking fees. Based on projected participation the format will be 3 (pool play) games on Friday and Saturday and the single elimination championship brackets on Sunday. Teams will hit their own USSSA approved baseballs. Rosters must be up to date and posted on the national USSSA web site by 3pm on Thursday June 6th-3pm. Please bring a parent signed copy of your roster for check in. Managers meeting on Thursday (June 6th at 7pm at the Inn at Rio Rancho- 1465 Rio Rancho Dr. SE - 505-892-1700. 8 Divisions of play with seperate brackets for 9u 10u 11u 12u 13u 14u 16u and 18u Team Trophies per championship flight - 1st-4th All Tournament Team Awards - 10 MVP Award - 1 (based on a minimum of 8 teams per championship flight) Individual Awards 1st and 2nd place teams. (based on a minimum of 8 teams per championship flight). Entry Fee ages 9u-13u - $550.00. There will be a tournament program produced by the Shriners Hospital for Children. That tournament program will list all the teams participating and will include their roster and photo of the team. Once you have entered the event please submit (via email) a full color high resolution photo (not a scan) and each players jersy number name and position to djohnson@shrinersbaseball.com. This must be submitted by May 22nd to be included in the program. If a team has a schedule request for pool play games they will be prioritized based on when the entry fee is received giving preference to out of town teams. Requests must be submitted NLT entry deadline. IF NECESSARY the last paid local teams may play on Thursday. Classifications (within the same age division) may be combined if there are less than 8 teams per classification.
