N FLORIDA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS Please check the schedule... Some 18u games are at Victoria Park also known as River City Softball Assoc (RCSA) address is: 2948 Knights Lane West Jacksonville FL 32216 Some 18U games are at Drew Park address: 6621 Barnes Road South Jacksonville FL 32216 These parks are almost side by side. The easy way to comunicate to your players is Drew Park has an asphault parking lot all the way around the fields. Victoria Park has a grass parking lot Please have 2 copies of your roster at check in. We will sign 1 and return it to you and we will keep 1. Please have Birth certificates and signed roster on hand in the event of a roster protest. Make sure to turn in a copy of your team insurance at check in.. This will be a 2 seed games into Double elimination elimination tournament. Seed games will be 75 minutes finish the inning... Elimination games will be 75 minutes finish the inning... Championship game will be 7 Innings or 90 minutes finish the inning.. If game is another championship GAME 90 min or finish the inning. Seeding will be determined by
1.W/L/T record
2.Head to Head when 2 teams are tied for seed placement.. If 3 or more teams tied for position we will NOT use Head to Head. 3.runs against
4.runs scored
5.coin flip...
Run rule in effect for ALL games
12 runs after 3 innings
10 runs after 4 innings
8 runs after 5 innings
Home team for seed games will be determined by coin flip..For elimination games high seed will have choice of home or visitor if tied coin flip..Seed games can end in a tie.. Metal cleets allowed only in the 16U & 18U divisions this tournament...please make sure to communicate this to your players in advance...
