 | Bracket Game ResultsDouble Double Arena Ball Tournament.
Each team will be placed into 2 seperate Double Elimination Brackets. Game times will be kept seperate until the quarter finals.
All games will be played by Arena Ball Rules:
There are no foul balls in this tournament; the ball is always in fair territory as long as it does not leave the playing field.
The batter is out if he hits the ball and it leaves the field of play on the fly i.e. any ball over the backstop into the net above the backstop or over the fences.
Any struck ball that hits the batter while he is still in the batter’s box is ruled a strike.
Any ball that bounces over a sideline fence or is touched by a fielder and goes over the sideline fence is ruled a ground rule double.
All teams may start with 8 players with no penalty. The other players may be added to the bottom of the line-up as they arrive up to the 12th batter.
All Mens & Womens teams may bat 12 players and play 11 in the field. All Coed teams may bat 12 and play 12 in the field. Coed teams will consist of an even number of men and women.
Players may only play on 1 men’s team and 1 coed team during this tournament no exceptions!
MENS D: Teams are allowed 1 homerun per game. All others will be outs. Homeruns must pass the outfield fence before passing any part of the sideline fence to be ruled a homerun.
MENS E: All homeruns will be an inning ending out. All homeruns must pass the outfield fence before passing any part of the sideline fence to be ruled a homerun.
WOMENS: Teams are allowed unlimited homeruns. All homeruns must pass the outfield fence before passing any part of the sideline fence to be ruled a homerun.
COED: Teams will be allowed 1 male and 1 female homerun per game. All others will be outs. All homeruns must pass the outfield fence before passing any part of the sideline fence to be ruled a homerun.
Any ball that goes over the outfield fence after being touched by a defensive player will be ruled a four base error.
All offensive players must remain in their dugout. If any batted ball touches an offensive player before a defensive player has the opportunity to make a play the ball will be declared dead the batter is out and all baserunners must return to their base.
All batters must take a full swing at the ball no bunts or chops!
Anyone turning in the batter’s box to hit a pitched ball backwards will be called out and ejected from the tournament.
Teams may only have 1 catcher and 1 pitcher at any time; all other defensive players must either be infielders or outfielders.
The tournament directors have the right to rule on anything not covered on this rules sheet or in the USSSA rulebook.
