USSSA AREA 10 RGV SPRING SCORCHER The Rio Grande Valley Spring Softball Scorcher Softball Tournament for the 6u 8u 10u 12u and 14u Division Teams during the March 5 6 & 7 2010 Weekend. This is a 3 game guarantee style tournament. Each team will be charged $100.00 to Register and umpire Fees at the Plate are $15 per team. Teams will hit their own USSSA softballs and use their own Ts to hit from. Gate fees will be charged to all fans 11 yrs or older as follows: $1.00 per person per day each No Re- Entry without paying again or $3.00 per person Day Pass Only 10 teams per division will be accepted to play so the first ten to sign up and pay the registration fee will be allowed to play. We will be playing by USSSA Sanctioned Rules for this tournament. This is to be utilized as a warm-up for the first ever Area 10 Championships coming later this year. Tournaments Prizes are as follows: 1st - $100 Valero Gas Card and 2nd - $50 Valero Gas Card for teams to utilize when they travel to other tournaments. USSSA Points will also be awarded accordingly in fact its DOUBLE POINTS WEEKEND! A great way to build up your points for seeding later this year! The Tournament will be held at the Harlingen Sports Complex on Wilson Rd. NO ICE CHESTS OR OUTSIDE FOOD WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE PARK. A full concession stand will be available for your needs. Bring your lawn chair to be comfortable and enjoy the South Texas Weather!
