The 16 members of the 18 & Over State Championship All State Tournament Team and MVP's will be participating in a history making game against the Chicago Bandits on July 28 2009 at 7:05pm at Thilliens Stadium in Chicago. Congratulations to Tony Palermo and Chaos of Northlake for being the first recipient of the Bob "Pappy" Papich Team Sportsmanship Award. Pappy was the Sportscore Manager in Rockford from 1983 until his retirement in 1996 and also umpired many years with USSSA and other associations until his untimely death August 5 2008.
