Cost per team is $80 and EVERY game you must pay $40 cash at the plate. The winning team will get their cash back at the end of the game so only the losers will pay!
1. USSSA Sanctioning: Every team participating in tournament play must be registered online at USSSA.com
2. Rosters: Every team must submit a team roster prior to their first game and every player must sign the roster as a release of liability. All players must have their name on the roster when it is turned in to the umpire if a player is not present the first game their name must be printed so that they may sign when they arrive.
3. Player Eligibility: Players may only play on 1 team per tournament event. Softball World reserves the right to remove any player known to be playing on 2 teams during the same weekend. Any player protested by the opposing team must show proof of their identification as per the USSSA rulebook. Protest fee is $50 cash refundable if the protest is upheld.
A. Any team protested and caught with a player that is participating on a second team will forfeit that ballgame and be ejected from the tournament whether that player is on their roster or not. The offending player will be ejected from the tournament altogether.
B. Any team protested and caught with a player that is not on the team’s official roster will forfeit that ballgame and be ejected from the tournament. The offending player will be ejected from the tournament altogether.
C. Definition of an ineligible player includes one who has played on more than one team in a weekend a player that is not listed on the roster a player playing out of their classification or a player who is frozen to another team’s qualified roster.
D. The only exception to this rule is a player may play on a mixed team and a mens team on the same weekend.
4. All teams must have 9 players to start a game. Teams starting with 9 players will take an out in the line up until a tenth player takes that position. Mixed teams may start with 8 players but will incur 2 outs.
5. Teams are required to have a substitute for any player that is ejected from the game for unsportsmanlike conduct; if they do not have a substitute they will forfeit that game.
6. All bats must meet requirements set forth by USSSA. A list of all equipment legal for tournament play is listed at www.USSSA.com All teams must use softballs stamped with the Softball World logo.
7. Home run rules:
Mens E: Unlimited homeruns over the 250’ fence. Anything over the 300’ fence will be an out.
Mens D: Unlimited homeruns over the 250’ fence. 1 per game over the 300’ fence all others will be an out.
Mens C: Unlimited homeruns over the 250’ fence. 3 per game over the 300’ fence after both teams have hit 3 home runs we will play by the 1 up rule.
Womens: Unlimited homeruns over the 250’ fence. Unlimited over the 300’ fence.
MIXED D: Unlimited homeruns over the 250’ fence. 1 per game over the 300’ fence all others will be outs.
MIXED C: Unlimited homeruns over the 250’ fence. 2 per game over the 300’ fence after both teams have hit 2 home runs we will play by the 1 up rule.
Jerseys: There is no uniform rule for tournament play.
8. Code of Conduct: All players coaches and spectators are required to adhere to the “Code of Conduct” rules and policies. This code of conduct is posted publicly with these tournament rules.
9. Safety rules: Anyone throwing a bat in anger making a false tag wearing steel cleats onto the field or intentionally crashing into another player with great force will be ejected from the game.
10. Run Rules: 10 after 5 innings 12 after 4 innings 15 after 3 innings 20 after 2 innings and 25 after the first inning.
11. Time Limit: Each game will have a clock set for 50 minutes.
