Team Managers/Players - The USSSA 2008 13U State Championship bracket play is now available on usssa.com web site. All 13U State games will be played at Harlem Sports Complex at 9400 Forest Hills Rd in Loves Park IL 61111. Go to usssa.com - Softball Complex -Illinois- Harlem Sports Complex for directions. World Series berths will be awarded at this tournament so be prepared to confirm with entry fee of $450 and the World Series Entry Application Form which can be downloaded at usssa.com. Some teams may have already qualified so ask your Tournament Director if you are seeking a World Series berth. In Pool Play & Bracket Play no new inning will begin after 1 hour and 20 minutes. Pool Play can end in a tie. International tie breaker in bracket play. Championship game will play 7 innings no time limit. Mercy Rule: 10 runs after 3 innings/8 after 4/6 after 5 innings. Please have your team ready to play 30 minutes prior to scheduled game time. We will start early if running ahead of schedule. A coin flip will determine Home Team in Pool Play. Higher Seeded Team will be Home in Bracket play. Bracket seeds will be determined by points from Pool Play. 2 points for a win/1 point for a tie. Criteria for Seeding bracket play; #1 Best Record #2 Head to Head #3 Least amount of runs given up #4 Runs scored (with a maximum of 8 runs per game) #5 Flip of coin. Home Team is the Official Scorekeeper and the Visitors must provide someone for the electronic scoreboard if you’re playing on a diamond that has this scoreboard. Single elimination bracket play will begin immediately following Pool Play on Saturday. Consolation Bracket will be begin Sunday at 9am and the Single Elimination Play will resume Sunday 10:30am. Finals for the Single Elimination & Consolation brackets are at 1:30pm. Please bring your printed roster from ISTS with all required signatures. All teams must check in with the Tournament Director at the complex prior to first game. There is a full concession stand permanent bathrooms tennis courts basketball courts and skate park at this facility... One large cooler per team with water and fruit only will be allowed into Harlem Sports Complex. Coolers will be checked so please let your fans know. This will be a very hot weekend so be safe and keep hydrated and drink lots of water. 4 World Series berths awarded.
