WINNER RECIEVES PAID BERTH TO 2008 USSSA WORLD SERIES.(Paid berth non-transferable) 2 "A" and 1 "B" 2008 USSSA World Series berth awarded for 16U Level. This is an OPEN Class tournament two game pool play into double elimination tournament. 1st and 2nd will earn A Berths and the highest finishing B team will earn the B Berth. 2 Umps per game for both Pool and Bracket Play. No Gate/Entry/Parking Fee. (One Game qualifies as a complete tournament. If event is a Complete Washout a $75 administration fee will be retained from the entry fee. NO REFUNDS FOR TEAMS THAT DROP OUT OF EVENT!!) 1st and 2nd place team trophies awarded. Schedule subject to change at the discretion of the tournament director. Please check in with the onsite Director Near the Concession Stand one hour prior to your first game on Saturday. You will need to bring a completed and signed 2008 USSSA roster to check in with your cell phone number on it. Also bring copies of birth certificates to be reviewed and match team roster. FAILURE TO HAVE COMPLETED ROSTER OR BIRTH CERTS Verified WILL RESULT IN FORFEITURE OF GAMES UNTIL COMPLETE. Game lengths for pool play will be 75 minutes. Finish The Inning. No new inning to start after 65 minutes. Bracket play will be 90 minutes. Finish The Inning. No new inning to start after 80 minutes. International Tie Breaker rule for both pool and bracket play after regulation time expires. Championship game will play 7 innings. No time limit. Mercy Rule: 10 after 3 innings/ 8 after 4 innings/ 6 after 5 innings. Please have your team ready to play 30 minutes prior to scheduled game. First team listed in pool play bracket takes 1st Base dugout/second listed takes 3rd Base dugout unless team played on field previously then common curtousy applies. A coin flip will determine Home Team in Pool Play. Higher Seeded Team will have choice of Home or Visitor and take 3rd Base dugout in Bracket play. Bracket Seeds will be determined by Pool Play. Bracket play will begin immediately following Pool Play on Saturday 9/29/07. Home team is the official scorer for game and shall appoint a person to maintain scoreboard. Walona Complex has three lighted fields and one main parking facility. This facility can be accessed by turning into the Martino Jr High (731 Joliet Hwy New Lenox IL) entrance off Joliet Hwy. There is a walking path linking the Martino parking lot with the Walona Fields. We encourage everyone to park in the Martino parking lot as the parking facility alongside the playing fields fills up very quickly. There is a full concession stand on site with indoor bathrooms. Coolers are welcome but alcoholic beverages are prohibited. NO GATE/Parking FEE required for entry.
