Teams/Managers - The USSSA 18U "B" State Chamionship pool & bracket play is located on usssa.com web site. All games will be played at Harlem Sports Complex at 9400 Forest Hills Rd in Loves Park IL (Rockford). Go to usssa.com - softball complexes - Illinois - Harlem Sports Complex for directions. For those driving in on Sat am there is a new interchange from I-90 just north of the Riverside exit approx 2 miles. Exit I90 at 173. Go left to Forest Hills Rd and make a left turn at the Rockford Speedway. Harlem Sports Complex is located appox 4 blocks down on the right and parking is by the Skate Park. In Pool Play and Bracket Play no new inning will begin after 1 hour & 20 minutes International tie breaker in bracket play. Pool Play can end in a tie. Bracket Play will be most like a double elimination except no "if" Championship Game will be played. If the undefeated team loses that game they would be Runners-up no 2nd game would be played.Championship game will play 7 innings no time limit. Mercy Rule: 10 runs after 3 innins/8 after 4/6 after 5 innings. Please have your team ready to play 30 minutes prior to scheduled game time. We will start early if running ahead of schedule. A coin flip will determine Home Team in Pool Play. Higher Seeded Team will be Home in Bracket Play. Bracket seeds will be determined by points from Pool Play. 2 points for a win/1 point for a tie. Criteria for seeding bracket play; #1 Best Record #2 Head to Head #3 Least amount of runs given up #4 Runs scored (a maximum of 8 runs per game) #5 Fip of coin. Home Team is the Officil Scorekeeper and the Visitors must provide someone for the electronic scoreboard. Bracket play will begin immediately following Pool Play on Saturday. Please bring your printed roster from ISTS with all required signatures. All teams must check in with Jason Tournament Director at the complex prior to first game. There is a full concession stand and permanent restrooms. No food or coolers except water will be allowed into the park. Please don't bring your pets because shade is limited. Gate Admission for All Day - Adults $4 Senior Citizens (over 65)$3 - 18 & Under $2 and Children 12U - Free. Only water & power drinks will be allowed in coolers. No food may be brought into facility. All coolers will be checked. Please make sure your parents/fans are informed of the above. 4 game guarantee. 2 games of pool and double elimination type Awards...All State Tournament Team Most Valuable Pitcher Best Defensive Player Most Valuable Player and individual awards to the Champions.Thanks so much for your patience and Good Luck!
