TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEE AND REFUND POLICY 

Permian Basin Youth Baseball has updated their entry fee and refund policy. Please make sure to understand this policy, as the last thing we want to do is have to take a team who wants to play out of our events. Unfortunately, we have no choice but to go to a pay by deadline system due to teams not letting us know until after brackets go out that they are not able to play. This isn’t fair to other teams as schedules must be rebuilt causing them to reset their plans and, in some cases, even not being able to play when a team pulls out not giving enough to build a bracket. Below is both our pay policy as well as our refund policy should an event have to be cancelled due to weather or other situation out of our control. 

ENTRY POLICY: A team will be listed as pending until paid online or by check. Any team who’s not paid online or by check/cash will be removed from the event on Monday at 7PM. If paying by check/cash, it’s your responsibility to keep up with pay status on USSSA. When your payment is received and cleared, your team’s status will be changed from pending to approved. 
NOTE-VERY IMPORTANT: If the tournament is full for your division and you’ve still not paid, other teams will be able to register and pay in your place. Teams will be removed that aren’t paid.     
REFUND POLICY: Refunds will be given in full to any team who calls 432-520-9100 AND emails request before deadline of 5PM the Monday before tournament. 
Once brackets are out the following applies. If weather forces a complete cancellation, all teams will be issued a refund less a $75 admin fee. There are costs associated with setting an event up and we don’t want to have to cancel based on a forecast several days out. We don’t agree with forcing a team to come back by only issuing a credit like so many do and feel this is fair for everyone involved. Once event starts, all teams will be guaranteed 3 games. Once a game starts, it will be considered a game as the umpires and fields are applied. If one game is started, 67% will be refunded less admin fee. If 2 games are started, 33% will be refunded less admin fee. No refund will be given once the 3rd game starts. For game times that are modified to get event in, there will be no refunds as the cost to play the game i.e. umpires, fields, staff are still paid at same rate.
