Coaches, thank you for playing USSSA. Our goal is for all teams to enjoy their stay here. Please respect all participants, parents, directors, coaches, umpires, rules and employees of USSSA and its affiliated park so that all may enjoy the game we all love. Unsportsmanlike conduct and disrespecting behavior will not be tolerated. We will create a great environment for the people that just want to come and enjoy the games. We truly are dedicated to this
Check in: Please bring a copy of your insurance and any unpaid fees to the Event Director. Rosters must be online with guardian approvals or you will risk forfeiting games. Please have Birth Certificates and/or ID’s on hand in case of protest. We will not need the players at check in. Please bring all info at least a half hour before the start of your 1st game.
Event Gate Fees - $200 Team Gate Fee – Due at check in or online ($210)
Below is some important information.
- Gate will open one hour prior to first game. No sooner
- Games can start as early as 30 minutes prior to scheduled game time. First game of the day could start 15 minutes early. Be prepared
- All pool games are 60 minute drop dead. Brackets are 65 minute finish the inning
- CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES ARE WINNER TAKE ALL (NO IF GAMES)
- If a player hits a homerun, we will give them a homerun ball after the game. See the tournament director for homerun balls after the game.
- 1 team water/gatorade cooler per team
- No pets allowed at Northern Indiana USSSA events even if park rules do not prohibit it
- Please help with getting foul balls that leave the field back to the field. Instruct your players and parents to please help in this matter. The clock will not stop to get balls to the field so your cooperation in this helps all involved.
Northern Indiana USSSA Credit Policy
Entry fees are non refundable. Teams will receive credit towards a future event with Northern Indiana USSSA. Credit issued does not apply to future Northern Indiana USSSA State, NIT or National events. Credit is transferable (by listed team coach only) to another team in writing. Only one team credit can be used per entry. Credit may be used for the next future season (1 Year max) if team cannot compete or transfer credit during the current year season.
***Note, if an event does not make due to lack of teams, (less than 3) teams will receive a full refund instead of credit unless team has an unpaid event in the current season. In that case, funds will be transferred.
***Note, unplayable games, inclement weather, power outages, or other acts of nature, vandalism, or acts out of our control: Entry fee credit towards future Northern Indiana events.

Gate fees (team or individual) are non refundable. Team gate fees can be paid online or at event check in
A team withdrawing from an event must give a minimum of a 2 week notice prior to start date of the event to receive a future event credit. A team withdrawing from a SOLD OUT division in an event will not receive a credit unless the event director can fill the spot that your team was occupying.
Northern Indiana USSSA reserve the right to alter or modify or make rulings that are not particularly covered in these rules and regulations; or that management concurs are necessary to conduct the ongoing business. All Northern Indiana USSSA management decisions are final.
Northern Indiana USSSA Zero Tolerance Policy
We are issuing no more warnings the rest of the season to parents. EJECTIONS ONLY. Once ejected, it will be for the weekend.
Parents should limit their participation to that of positive encouragement. Negative cheering and unsportsmanlike behavior to other teams, umpires, fans, players, and/or coaches will not be allowed. Steps will be made to achieve the right environment for everyone involved if necessary.
Players/Parents/Spectators: Any Cussing, bashing, berating, belittling of an official, a staff member, a player, a coach or other fans will result in them being removed from the complex.
Excessive arguing/yelling at an official over balls/strikes and calls on the field will result in them being removed from the complex
Coaches will be ejected immediately without warning if A. They use profanity B. They put their hands on an official C. The umpire feels threatened in any way.
If you approach an official or staff member off the field or off property in a volatile and/or a demeaning way, you will not be allowed to stay or back into the facility.
Lastly, enjoy yourselves while you are out there. Enjoy the officials and staff members. They are not your opponents. They are there for a good experience just as you are.
