FAQ’s

1. Are your fields turf now? 

YES! Well... some are. Fields 6, 7, 8, and 9 are now artificial turf infields. The outfields are still natural grass. This means NO RAINOUTS. We have plans to come back in about October and install artificial turf on fields 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. For now only 6 through 9 are. On these fields we do NOT allow metal cleats.

2. Can I pay at the park? 

It is not encouraged, USSSA now requires you to pay online, or pay an extra fee. ALL TEAMS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PAY ONLINE. If you'd like to learn how to pay online, the tournament director (Danny Bartlett) would be happy to assist you. This is a VERY EASY process once you learn how to do so. This makes checking in at the tournament a breeze. 

3. How can I get a refund? 

Simply email your tournament director to process your refund. Danny Bartlett will assist you in getting that processed. 

4. Where are the Memorial Park softball fields?

Often times Google can misdirect folks to our park. Our park is located at 2000 NE Memorial Park Square, Bentonville, AR 72712.

5. How are you fields numbered? 

If you look in the files section of this event description page, you'll find a field layout photo that outlines how our fields are numbered. Essentially they are laid out like a clock, starting on the west side of the concession stand (just north of the batting cages). Please check our files page for this information. 

6. NIT?

Most of our events are an NIT status tournament. This awards team’s double points for competing in these tournaments. We want to reward teams for playing in Bentonville however we can. Wondering if our tournament is NIT, the answer is in the name. If our tournament is an NIT event, it will be named as such: Kellogg's Classic NIT. However, if the event doesn't have NIT in the name, it is simply a regional qualifier.
