Come help us celebrate life
Madeline Grace Hopkins was born on June 7, 2007 and is the daughter of Brian and Mandy. Madeline only lived 12 hours because of a chromosomal disorder known as Trisomy 18. Though her life was short, Madeline was a miracle. Doctors encouraged Mandy to terminate the pregnancy because T18 carries a diagnosis of “incompatibly with life”. Through prayer and the support of family and friends, the Hopkins chose to carry Madeline to term and give God the glory for the time Madeline was here. Many prayed for a miracle and for Madeline to be healed. God did just that! He healed her, but not on this side of Heaven.
Brian, Mandy and their 4 sons (who are very involved in Middle Georgia Softball – USSSA) have a special love for fastpitch softball as they are SURE that Madeline would have been a special player. Her triplet brothers absolutely LIVE the sport of baseball and can be found at the park anytime the fields are open . And if there is a softball game going on at the same time a baseball game is playing…. You can bet they gravitate to the girls fastpitch game.
Madeline’s life changed many, especially ours. We believe that ONLY God gives LIFE and we are honored to be Madeline’s parents. We have peace knowing that God’s grace is sufficient and Heaven is for real because our daughter is there.
We appreciate you joining us to celebrate Madeline’s life and legacy. We want to bring awareness to Trisomy 18 and other life-threatening illnesses of newborns. Our hope is that parents will consider LIFE instead of abortion if faced with the decision. Our local Crossroads Pregnancy Center offers moms this opportunity through prenatal education and the support of many volunteers. We are honored to support Crossroads Pregnancy Center in celebrating Madeline's LIFE!
