Rules - Each team must show online USSSA Roster and insurance at check in before first game - Each team must bring 2 – Leather optic yellow .47 core softballs (Worth Dream Seam or Dudley SB11 or SB12 balls are preferred) or there will be a $20 charge - Be sure that all bats have a USSSA 2014 bat stamp there may be a bat check - Time Limit: 70 Minutes which starts on the coin flip. Tie Breaker after time limit or 7 innings. Pool Play only (Unless format change) if tie breaker is used each team starts with runners on second and third with 0 outs. If still tied after one inning it will be a tie game with all stats final with each team receiving a ½ win a piece for seeding - Run Rules:12 after 3 10 after 4 and 8 after 5 - Seeding: 1. record in pool 2. Head to head 3. Run differential (Maximum 7 runs) 4. Runs Allowed 5. Runs scored 6. Coin flip (If more than 2 teams tied head to head doesn’t apply - Pool play and bracket play all tournament: Can bat entire lineup or straight USSSA by choice. If batting entire line up player or players leave game they can’t return to that game. If batting everyone and player or players leave the game for any reason by umpire judgement (Exception ejection) skip over them without an out being called. No team can play with less than 8 players. If a team starts a game straight USSSA they must finish straight USSSA - Courtesy runner for pitcher and catcher must be last batted out if batting entire lineup. If playing straight USSSA rules courtesy runner is a substitute player. - No infield or outfield ball after first inning. 5 warm up pitches first inning 3 after that - Umpires will report all scores and scores will be posted online. Home team is official book - NON protest tournament with decision of umpires or UIC final. Only one coach or manager speaks to umpire - Teams must be able to play 30 minutes before game time. Game time is forfeit time (by tournament officials judgement) - Head coach is in charge of his or her team players coaches fans or any other personal during the game. Practice good sportsmanship - Tournament officials have the right to change tournament format at any time for just cause to complete tournament. - Team coolers only! No outside coolers or food!
