13 TEAMS IN POOL PLAY - THEN SPLIT INTO 2 BRACKETS - 7 TEAMS IN BRACKET 1 (THIS BRACKET) AND 6 TEAMS IN BRACKET 2 - BRACKET 1 GAMES ARE CURRENTLY SCHEDULED TO START AT 3PM ON SATURDAY - (BRACKET 2 IS LISTED ONLINE AS A 'SEPARATE TOURNAMENT')
Please note that tournament formats/schedules are subject to change if/when inclement weather interferes/doesn't allow time for the standard format of 4GG - bracket games take priority if/when rescheduling is necessary.

Team Entry Fee: $150. & Pay-at-the-Plate Pool Games $30 / Bracket Games $35

Awards: Trophies for Teams AND PLAYERS placing 1st - 2nd - 3rd (x 2 Brackets)

Pool Games:
- Pool game matchups are pre-determined
- *Pool games are 55 minutes finish the batter
- Pool games are practice do not determine bracket seeding
- Pool games can end in a tie

Bracket Games:
- Bracket games matchups are determined by blind draw
- *Bracket games are 1 hour finish the inning
- Bracket games cannot end in a tie – International tiebreaker rule applies

ALL GAMES (Pool & Bracket):
- USSSA Blue-stich balls will be supplied
- Home/Away determined by a coin flip winner chooses – except for the championship game where the undefeated team is home; ‘If Necessary’ games are also determined by a coin flip
- The Home team is responsible for providing the official scorekeeper(s)
- Umpires will collect line-ups for all games (Pool & Bracket Games)
- Teams must be prepared to play up to 30 minutes prior to scheduled game times to avoid forfeiture of game

RULES ARE AVAILABLE ONLINE AT SELAUSSSA.COM modified as noted:

Rule Modifications (SELA USSSA Tournaments)
1. Courtesy Runners:
a. Rule8 Sec 3; B Page-40 will be modified to allow the last completed at-bat to be a courtesy runner for the pitcher or the catcher when there are no available substitutes.
b. No player shall be allowed to run for the pitcher and the catcher in the same half inning.
c. All other specifications under Rule 8 Sec. 3 apply.
2. Players and Substitutes:
a. Rule 5 Sec 2; A Page-28 will be modified to allow for a player who leaves the line-up for any reason except ejection to be scratched through provided a team maintains a minimum of 9 players in the line-up.
b. All other specifications under Rule 5 Sec 2 apply including if a player leaves the game and there are less than 9 players left in the line-up an out shall be declared every time that player’s turn comes up to bat.
3. Pool Play Line-ups:
a. Rule 5 Sec 1 will be modified to allow for teams to bat their entire line-up in pool play.
b. Exception: If pool game results are being used to seed teams for bracket play teams will follow the line-up protocol in Rule 5 Sec 1 with no modifications.
4. Run Rules:
a. Rule 4 Sec 4 will be modified to the following run rule specifications.
b. 8 runs after 3 innings or 2 ½ innings if home team is ahead.
c. The above run rule applies in pool games as well as bracket games.

Game Balls: USSSA Blue-stich balls will be supplied

Water coolers/cups will be provided for players in the dugout – NO OUTSIDE FOOD/DRINKS ICE CHESTS ETC. ARE ALLOWED IN THE PARK
-Players can bring INDIVIDUAL drinking cups and/or coolers to fill with water provided in the dugouts and
-Players can bring small ice chests FLORIDA WATER ONLY
***BOTTLED DRINKS OF ANY KIND FOR ANYONE ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE PARK***
GATE FEES: Adults $6 – Kids (7-16) $4. – Kids 6 & Under FREE)
