This tournament will use a 3 game format and is only open to USSSA teams registered as “Rec/All Star”. USSSA MD/DE Rec/All Star classification events are for teams composed of all-stars from their recreational league or a complete team from their recreational league.

The Rec/All Star tournaments are hosted later in the season so that they do not conflict with the recreational league schedules which typically end in June or early July.

Class A B or C teams are not eligible for these events.

All entries into these events are continually reviewed by a committee to determine the team's eligibility. USSSA reserves the right to reclassify teams as is deemed consistent with a team's level of play. For further clarification on USSSA classifications visit USSSA "C" and Recreational All-Stars Definition.

Teams that are not sure that they fit the definition of being a USSSA “C” team should contact either Glen Warholic or the USSSA State Office to clarify and determine their eligibility. For the 10U division the rules are modified somewhat to be more in line with the level of play for this division. See this document for the specifics on the 10U C and Rec All-Star rule modifications.

This event will most likely be played at several locations. Parks may include Meadowbrook - North Laurel and Savage. Age bracket assignments will be determined by the number of entries in each.

Entry is not locked in until payment is received. Payment is due at least 2 weeks prior to event or before the event is full.

Teams may either pay their entry fee online when they enter or make check payable to Maryland Fastpitch Softball and mail to Glen Warholic – 7050 Cher Deb Road – Mt. Airy MD 21771. If mailing a check please print off the email that you’ll receive when you enter online and include it with the check.
