    COOLERS/ICE CHESTS: Teams can bring coolers for DUGOUT ONLY – Concessions are available therefore they DO NOT allow ice chests or any outside food or drinks.

    GATE ENTRY FEES: Adults $6. – Kids (7-16) $4 – Kids 6 and under free (Players and up to 3 Coaches are free)

    RULES: USSSA Clarified (and Modified as noted*) – USSSA Rules are available online at usssa.com

    EQUIPMENT: Teams are to provide game balls –
    Balls are to be 11” fast pitch 46.25 +/- with raised seams - Balls DO NOT have to have USSSA logo*
    Bats are to be fast pitch regulation – Bats are NOT required to have the USSSA stamp*

    Games are 1 hour - Finish the Inning – No new inning after 55 minutes

    GAMES MAY START EARLY – BE PREPARED TO PLAY UP TO 15 MINUTES BEFORE SCHEDULED START TIME TO AVOID FORFETITURE OF GAME

    Home/Away determined by a coin flip (winner chooses) – except for the Championship Game where the highest seed is Home
    Batting lineup can be 9 or up to all players present (as agreed by Coaches)*

    A courtesy runner (last batted out or substitute if not all players are batting) may run for the pitcher or catcher

    10U Specific 'C' Rules:
    Play with 9 or 10 fielders (3 or 4 outfielders) as agreed by Coaches*
    Base Runners can leave the base when the ball leaves the pitcher's hand
    Base Runners can steal bases but cannot steal home
    Dropped 3rd Strike Rule NOT in effect
    Infield Fly Rule NOT in effect
    Mercy Rules: Maximum of 6 Runs per Inning can be scored by each team / 8 Runs after 3 Innings

    We are offering a great lineup of camps this summer  - one to fit about every need.  We view camp as a fun way to grow the game of softball.  While there is a ton of fun activities there is no shortage of work and skills being done.  The majority of our fun activities still have softball tied to them in one way or another.  So if improving your game - while having a blast is what you want then LSU Softball Camp is the place for you!

    Elite Camp - June 8-10 2015 (With optional Sunday 6/7 drop off) 8th grade - 12th grade
    Elite Camp is our most competitive camp. Run at a fast pace and very high level we bring in some of the best coaches in the country to coach specific skills and to coach competitive teams.  Camp is broken up into skill sessions with immediate game sessions to follow.  Our goal is to teach high level college based skills and then help the athletes immediately implement them into actual game play.  Skill sessions include professional vision and mental game coaches hitting for power building speed pitcher and catcher relationships team defense and many many more.  Elite Camp is an opportunity for athletes to directly interact with not only the LSU coaching staff but coaching staffs from all across the country and all divisions.  It offers an intimate look at what LSU Softball and college softball are all about.  (Please check the website to see who has committed to working camp)

    Overnight Camp & Commuter Camp options are available for 8th grade thru 12th grade 1players.  Overnight  Campers will stay in the Alumni Hotel Lod Cook and bus to Tiger Park each day.  Commuter campers will check in at 9 am and check out after the final skill session around 7pm.  Camp is over on Wednesday 6/10 at 3pm.  Register here:  https://campscui.active.com/orgs/LSUSoftball

    All Skills Camp- June 15-17 2015 (With optional Sunday 6/14 drop off) Ages 7-14
    All-Skills Camp offers tons of skill work mixed with tons of fun.  Fundamental based skills are mixed with games and activities to offer a different camp experience and grow players love for the game.  Camp is split by age and ability level and each activity skill and drill is tailored to each groups level of play offering the best experience for all levels of campers.  Camp is broken up into sessions that build on top of one another so as each camper gains a fundamental base and then can excel into higher level skills. Camp is coached by the LSU Coaching Staff othe coaches from around the country and divisions and the LSU Softball Players

    All Skills Camp- Tiger Cubs- June 15-17 2015 Ages 4-6 
    Tiger Cub Camp is a great way to introduce your camper to softball in a fun and exciting environment.  The Cubs are broken up into their own group but do everything the rest of the ALL-Skills campers are doing.  Coaches will work on fundamental skills and work to build confidence into each Cub.

    Commuter Camp is the only options for the cubs.  Drop off at 9 am each day and pick up at noon.

    Hitting & Slapping Camp - June 22-23 Ages 8-18
    Hitting & Slapping Camp is a very focused skill based camp.  The groups are split by age and ability level in an effort to offer the best experience for each camper.  Depending on where a camper fits they will focus on all aspects of hitting or slapping.  Slappers will have the ability to hit also we just like to group them together in order to do slapping specific drills.  Hitters will have video training sessions mental game sessions and vision sessions along with ALL things hitting.

    Pitching & Catching Camp - June 24-25 Ages 8-18
    Pitching & Catching Camp is all about small focuses and developing great pitchers and catchers.  Pitchers will focus on all aspects of pitching from a ground up approach.  Each session will will build on the one before. At the end of each session pitchers will throw to catchers. Catching Camp will work the same as pitching. Sessions will build on one another and have a direct link to what the pitchers are throwing that day.  That way the catchers will get to immediately implement the skills during live catching.  The groups are split by age and ability level in an effort to offer the best experience for each camper.
