PLEASE
READ CAREFULLY: The Miami Stingrays 8A and Pines Thunder
Red 8A are in this group for scrimmages only. Games on the schedule
against these two teams DO NOT count toward seeding. The Stingrays 8A
and Pines Thunder 8A will NOT be in the bracket. They will play in
their own bracket against each other after their scrimmage games
against teams in this group. This has been discussed with each coach.
Seeding is based on 3 games.
Seeding Games will be on Friday and Saturday.
Bracket play starts Saturday afternoon.
Bracket play is Double Elimination.
Note that Friday and Saturday games are at North Collier Regional Park.
Sunday's games are at Golden Gate Community Park.
Games start Friday MORNING at 8:00am. No requests for late starts.
Games are scheduled to play in South Lee County and North Collier
County. We are NOT scheduled to play in Cape Coral. The pin trading
party is scheduled for Friday evening at Sun-N-Fun Lagoon (15000
Livingston Rd Naples FL) next to North Collier Regional Park in Naples.
NOTE: This is not the same waterpark we used in the past.

All 8U games
including Championship Games are 60 minutes or 5-innings whichever
comes first. In bracket games the highest seed chooses HOME or VISITOR.
If same seed coin flip determines HOME or VISITOR. Team in
Winners' Barcket chooses HOME or VISITOR over
team coming out of Losers' Barcket. IF game is coin flip for HOME or
VISITOR.
Cross
bracketing
will be used in most divisions. In the event of weather delays the TD
reserves the right to play Winner Bracket Games ahead of Loser Bracket

on determining final order of finish in the event of a
weather-shortened tournament.
