One Day Tournament Rules
Formats: Fields that has 3 or 4 teams will play 2 pool games and top 2 teams play for championship 5 teams will play 2 games best record wins using USSSA tie breakers.
5.13 Pool Play / Tie Breaker Criteria: Once advanced to the next tie breaker criteria; do not return to a previous criteria.
1) Winning Percentage – Descending
2) Number Wins – Descending
3) Number Loses – Ascending
4) Tied Teams (vs. each other) Winning Pct – Descending (more than 2 teams tied skip this tie breaker)
5) Avg Points Allowed – Ascending
6) Avg Run Differential with a maximum of (8) – Descending
7) USSSA Points – Descending
8) Date Team Entered USSSA Database
Once advanced past one tie breaker you don’t go back to a previous tie breaker.
Time limits are 1:45 starting 1st pitch. Championship games will have 2 hour limits. If a game is tied after 6 innings 8u-12u and 7 inning 13u-16u in pool games those games will end in a tie. Championship games will go 1 extra inning using International tie breaker. If after extra inning is complete and teams are still tied both teams will be award 1st place and team seated 1 will get 1st place awards other be placed 1 in standing but will but receive 2nd place awards.
Teams & parents remember School is back in and playing late is not a option.
9U modified Stealing rule:
Bases 65’ pitching 46’
10’ Lead line on bases runner cannot pass line till ball crosses plate no running starts. Any runner leaving early should be called out by umpire. Umpire judgment no appeals.
Runner can be picked off and runner can advance on pickoff attempt.
Drop 3rd Strike batter is out runners can advance.
No balks are called if a runner is picked off using a balk move runner is not out and returned to base and pitch and coach are notified about balk.
All other USSSA rules apply
