Facility Rules:
No
hitting into fences
Stay
off dirt area when field crew is grooming the field between games.
Clean
dugout when game is completed
Do
not have player's take hitting practice from same area on outfield
grass. Avoid making holes in grass.
Be
proud of our ballparks - do your part to help maintain the fields!
Full

Awards:
GOLD DIVISION: Team and Individual awards
for 1st and 2nd place (CIS Tournament Rings)
SILVER DIVISION: Team and Individual awards
for 1st and 2nd place (CIS Tournament Trophy)
Score Updates:
Scores, pitching innings and seeding will be
updated after each game.
Seeding will be posted on pool play schedule
page after pool play is completed.
Team Check In:
All managers are required to check in at
least 30 minutes before the start of your first regular scheduled game.
Please located the tournament director at
the park. Directors are located by the white trailer or by the
concession stand
Items at check in:
1. Pay all fees that are due.
2. Your online roster is your official
roster. Teams have up to the start of their first game to make changes
to their roster. Teams may not change roster after the start of the
first game. All teams may view team's rosters at www.usssa.com
3. Updated tournament information
4. Receive 1 pitching card. (Additional
card with be given when completed game record is returned).
No outside food or coolers
to be brought in to ballpark (unless noted above):
No coolers or food are to be brought into
the ballparks. Please relay this
message to your parents. We hold the manager responsible for enforcing
this with your parents and fans.
Rosters:
Please have your roster updated on-line as
that is the official roster of the tournament. Please read through the
National Bylaws on roster rules. Please have your roster 100% accurate
before you start your first game. The team's manager is responsible for
all aspects of the eligibility of the players on his team and that they
meet the Bylaws and Rules set forth in the 2017 USSSA National Bylaws.
Pitching:
USSSA pitching limitations are in effect -
please read the pitching rules stated in the USSSA National Bylaws.
Managers, the last thing we want to do is to forfeit your team because
you pitched a player too many innings.
Each team will receive pitching record cards
at team check in. Please complete pitching records after each game,
have the opposing manager or scorekeeper sign the record and turn in to
the tournament director immediately after each game. This
pitching record is the official record of player's innings and score of
game so make sure the card is completed correctly. Please
make the card readable and include the player's uniform number, team age
and class, and team name.
Please do not make the tournament directors
have to track you down to get your pitching cards. Teams will not be
allowed to start a new game if they have not completed and turned in the
previous game pitching record.
Championship Seeding:
Championship seeding is based on USSSA
pool play / tie breaker criteria.

Showcase
All Central Iowa Sports Tournaments are 2016
Iowa USSSA All-State Showcase Events
The 6th annual Iowa USSSA All-State Showcase
will be held on July 29, 2017. (Rain date will be July 30, 2017)
The All State Showcase will highlight players
who have been nominated throughout the season at participating All-State
Showcase events.
Players are nominated for displaying great
sportsmanship, effort and all around great tournament performance.
Only players from Iowa Teams are eligible to
participate in the Iowa All-State Showcase but players nominated from
out of State teams will be listed on the All-Tournament team and posted
on the results page of the event at www.usssa.com
NOMINATION PROCESS
Team's coach will be asked to nominate players
based on team's order of finish.
These nominated players will be the event's
All-Tournament Team.
The first placed team
will nominate 6 players
The second placed team
will nominate 5 players
The third placed team
will nominate 4 players
The fourth placed team
will nominate 3 player
All other teams will
nominate 1 player.
Coach must submit their team's nominations at:
https://www.iowaallstateshowcase.com/
Selection of players will be finalized by the
hosting organization, tournament director and the State Director.
All players that have been nominated at each
All-State Showcase event will be posted on the results page of
tournament at www.usssa.com as
the All-Tournament Team.
ALL-STATE
SHOWCASE COACHING STAFF
Coaches will be selected from finish at the
State Tournament.
Coaches from teams that win their State
Tournament will have first option to coach.
Runner-up team has second option and so on.

Each player will wear team uniform to Showcase
Event
Players will be divided into teams and play in
a round robin showcase.
2 division of play during All-State Showcase;
Maj/AAA and AA/A.
Teams and schedules will be announced about a
week before the event begins.
Each player participating in the All-State
Showcase will receive:
Iowa All-State Showcase tournament shirt
Iowa All-State participant plaque
Listed as an Iowa All-State Player and posted
at
www.iowausssa.com
