Separate AA and Open Divisions. If there are fewer than 8 teams in each division they may be combined. The 13u and older divisions will be played (predominantly - up to 35 teams) at the new Sparks Kindness Regional Sports Complex. Every attempt will be made to allow all teams to play on and experience this facility but no guarantees are made that all games will be played here. We are guests at each field that we utilize and we MUST be respectful guests to maintain the relationships and be able to put these events together for the kids. Sunflower Seeds – Are banned at all complexes due to state mandated CSP's but they are normally banned at all facilities except the RIo Rancho Sports complex Pets – Pets are not allowed at any complex except for service animals Alcohol – Alcohol is banned at all facilities including the parking lots Smoking – Smoking is prohibited at all facilities and all tobacco use is prohibited in the dugout or on the field. Trash – Please clean up your stands and dugout after each game. Food and Drinks – The Albuquerque Regional Sports Complex does NOT allow outside food or drink to be brought into the facility. All other complexes allow you to bring your own food or drinks. Metal Cleats – Metal Cleats are not allowed anywhere at the Albuquerque Regional Sports Complex and are not allowed on any synthetic turf mounds. Hard Plastic Cleats – Hard plastic cleats are not allowed on synthetic turf mounds in the ages 13u and older. Synthetic turf mounds, for these ages, are in use at the Rio Rancho Sports Complex, North Valley LL and the Sparks Kindness Complex. http://groups.reservetravel.com/group.aspx?id=26330 The 13u -14u divisions will be played (predominantly - up to 35 teams) at the Albuquerque Regional Sports Complex. At this facility metal cleats/spikes are not allowed anywhere in the complex and molded hard plastic cleates/spikes are not allowed on the synthetic pitching mounds. Only soft rubber turf shoes or tennis shoes are allowed on pitching mounds. http://groups.reservetravel.com/group.aspx?id=26016 The event will be a 3-game guarantee and will be a 2-day event. 2 Pool Play games on the 1st day and then single elimination brackets for the 2nd day. There will be NO gate fees (except the $5.00 gate fee at the Albuquerque Regional Sports Complex) NO umpire fees and NO parking fees. Entry payment and withdraw deadline is 14 days prior to event start at 6pm - no exceptions. Rosters should be up to date and posted on the national USSSA web site by 3pm three days prior to the event start. Each manager must bring a parent signed copy of your roster for check in if a parent has not signed the online USSSA waiver, prior to first game, the first day of the event. 7 Divisions of play with separate brackets for 8u (coach pitch), 9u, 10u, 11u, 12u, 13u, 14u. Team Trophies per championship flight - 1st-4th (based on a minimum of 8 teams per championship flight) Individual Awards 1st and 2nd place teams. (based on a minimum of 8 teams per championship flight). If a team has a schedule request for pool play games they will be prioritized based on when the entry fee is received giving preference to out of town teams. Requests must be submitted NLT entry deadline. IF NECESSARY the last paid local teams may play on Friday. In some situations, an extra pool play game (for one team) is necessary for all teams to get their required number of pool play games. If your team would like this game (if this dynamic exists) please let me know by the entry deadline. If no team wants the extra pool play game it will be assigned to the last paid team. This game will count toward pitching and seedings for elimination play. Teams will hit their own USSSA approved baseballs. Insurance Disclaimer - Teams must have their own USSSA insurance. ARSC / Sparks Kindness F&B Policy ASM Global (ARSC) retains all rights to food and beverage within the Facility and its grounds; no outside food or beverage is permitted. The only exception is coaches are permitted to bring team hydration and nutrition. Such items must be exclusively for the teams themselves and can only be brought into the Facility by coaching staff. Absolutely no outside alcohol is permitted in the ARSC Facility including the ARSC parking lot. ARSC has a zero tolerance with outside alcohol and violators will be required to leave premises. Communication of the ARSC Facility’s food and beverage policy to Sporting Event participants, organizers, staff, and attendees is responsibility of Licensee, as is compliance with the same. |
