Tournament Rules and Information 1. USSSA rules will apply. All teams must be insured and USSSA sanctioned. Copies of birth certificates must be available for inspection. Team manager or representatives are to check in at least thirty minutes prior to the start of their first game. NO METAL CLEATS ALLOWED IN 8U 10U AND 12U! If a player is caught with metal cleats the player and head coach will be ejected from the remainder of tournament. 2. All pool games will be 5 innings or 65 minutes drop dead (finish the batter). All pool games may end in a tie. Bracket play will be 5 innings or 65 minutes finish the inning. (Ties in bracket games will be decided by using the international tie breaker (after the fifth inning). An eight run rule after four innings ten run rule after three innings and 12 run rule after 2 innings will apply in all games. Teams must be ready to play 30 minutes prior to game time 3. Umpires will allow pitchers three pitches or 1 minutes between innings (whichever is less) UMPIRES WILL STRESS THIS. Teams should hurry on and off the field to ensure pitcher/catcher warm-ups. It is imperative that any post-game team meetings not take place until the dugout is cleared and cleaned and the field is vacated. Likewise teams should be ready to occupy the dugout and be prepared to start play. Teams may NOT warm up before games on the dirt infield. 4. Home team will be the official scorekeeper. Home team will be decided by coin toss in ALL games except for championship and the WINNERS BRACKET team will be home team. Each team must supply one (New or like New) .47 COR ball per game. 5. Protest fee is $200 and is refundable only if the protest is upheld by the Tournament Director 6. Tournament directors reserve the right to re-schedule games/fields or delay start times of games if conditions warrant. In the event of a Rain-Out winning teams will be determined by higher seed (if seeded) or advancement in double elimination bracket if 2 teams have same record in winners’ bracket: 1. Runs allowed 2. Runs scored 3. Run differential 4. Coin toss ( Official Game will be 3 Innings ) 7. All players and up to three coaches will be admitted free of charge. 8. Rainout number (901-508-5270). Coaches please do not give this number to your parents this is for your information on weather delays ONLY! A text will be sent to the number you provided us for all weather updates. 9. Use of profanities will not be tolerated from fans coaches or players. Any use of profanities is an automatic ejection for the remainder of the tournament. IF an ejections occurs for use of profanities or fighting the person/persons will be suspended for 1 USSSA tournament (1st offense). (2nd offense) Suspended from USSSA for 1 calendar year. 10. BRACKETS WILL BE BLIND DRAW! We will draw at the front gate for bracket opponents at 10:30 am Saturday morning. Coaches do not have to attend the blind draw but are welcome to watch. 11. 8U USSSA Rules Apply. Run limit per inning will be 6 runs per inning.
