 These are just a few items we would like to get to the managers and teams about these events.
1. Louisville Slugger will be the title sponsor for all divisions. Nothing will change for any of the divisions. The name of the AA and AAA divisions will change before schedules come out but that will be the only change for AA and AAA teams. 2. Managers should be the only person communicating on the teams behalf. When we have multiple people emailing about brackets skills information opening ceremonies info it slows the process down. Please have one person per team do all communication. That person should be the manager listed online. 3. Brackets will be posted by Sunday @ 9:00PM. We hope to have them sooner but this is the latest they will be posted. There are no game time request for any divisions. If one division of the event is posted and yours is not please dont email looking for your schedule. It is just not finished yet. 4. All teams will be scheduled a time to do skills. This will be posted online and a link emailed to you. All teams will do skills Thursday. There will be a document you will need to bring with you to the event. That document will be posted with your skills times. 5. Opening Ceremonies will be Wednesday afternoon. There will be two different opening ceremonies. Your team's age and class will be assigned a time based on the total number of teams attending the ceremonies. 6. Ranger tickets can be purchased until July 4th @ 8:00AM. http://www.dfwworldseries. 7. Coaches Admission Fees: For all teams (except for the 13AA 9AA and 9AAA) teams will be refunded $90 back to their entry fee and a credit will be issued to the team credit card used to pay the teams entry fee. This money will go to compensate the three coaches who will be required to pay to enter the facilities during the event. A week pass is $30 per person. That is why $90 will be credited back. For the 13AA 9AA and 9AAA playing in Frisco and Richardson your coaches will be given their bands prior to coming into the park. Please let your coaches know about this so that there are no issues with gate workers and coaches on the first day of the event. 8. Teams will check in a minimum of 1 hour prior to their first game. The manager will present all birth certificates to the tournament director at that time. Hospital Certificates are not acceptable forms of ID. Copies of Birth Certificates are ok. Passports State Issued ID cards and other official identification documents are accepted as well. If a player has an issue with paperwork they will be asked to do an interview. At that time the manager would bring the player to check in to finalize his process. Players do not need to check in unless there is an issue with their paperwork. 9. Merchandise will be sold at 5 locations Tuesday thru Thursday. Those locations will be emailed to all teams. You can also order online from the event supplier.
