| 2005 USSSA -- 18 TEAM MEN'S MAJOR WORLD SERIES |

A) The 2005 Men's USSSA Major World Series will be held September 21 - 25 in Orlando, Florida, at Disney's Wide World of Sports™ Baseball Stadium. The Series will be an 18-team double elimination affair with teams qualifying as follows:
Winners or representatives of 12 different Men's Major National Invitational Tournaments. The 2004 Men's Class "A" World Champion shall automatically qualify for the 2005 Major World Series.
(Major teams must play in at least three Major NIT's in order to qualify for the World Series Berth. Class "A" teams must play in at least two Major NIT's plus the Class "A" World).
Major World Series berth will be awarded to any team with nine or more players designated "Elite" on the 2005 USSSA Major Players List. Teams with nine or more "Elite" Major Players must submit a roster to the USSSA Executive Director by May 1, 2005. Teams with nine or more "Elite" Major Players that fail to submit roster by May 1, 2005, are not eligible to participate in the 2005 World Series.
Three At-Large Berths will be awarded to those teams with the highest point total awarded in 2005 Major NIT's.

| B) Any team, with the exception of teams that have nine or more players on their roster whose names appear on the Major Players List, that qualifies for the World Series will be allowed to strengthen their team by adding three additional players to their roster for the World Series. The World Series additions can only be made during the period one-week following Labor Day. A manager may release up to three players in order to make room for the add-ons. All such add-ons must have played for a USSSA registered team during the current season. (Ref. Slow Pitch By-Laws, Article VI Sec. 2.) |
| C) Each of the USSSA Major NIT's will award travel money as follows: 1st Place - $1,500; 2nd Place - $1,250; 3rd Place - $1,000; 4th Place - $650; 5th Place (Tie) - $300(each). Teams are not eligible for this travel money if they have nine major players; if they ever exceed eight prior to Sep 1st , they forfeit any accumulated money to date. Monies would be redistributed. Teams will receive travel monies at the highest-level tournament for which they qualify (minimum National Tournament), if they meet the lodging requirement. |
| D) Points from USSSA Major NIT's for Major World Series berths and seeding will be awarded as follows: Teams with at least nine "elite" major players will receive NIT points based on their place of finish. The highest finishing team with less than nine "elite" major players will receive 150 points, the next highest finishing team 110, etc. |

| E) Any team that qualifies for the World Series must confirm their entry with a Letter of Intent, which must be sent to the USSSA Executive Director by a date to be specified by the Executive Director. |
