What: USSSA Global Sports NIT – 4 game guarantee with Double USSSA Points

Tournament age divisions: 9U-15/16U (High School)

Tournament divisions: A AA and AAA/Major (Eight or more teams entered per class — will split divisions (i.e. ‐ AAA/Major split into separate AAA and Major divisions or AA/A split into AA and A divisions))

Who: Hosted by the Cornshucker Baseball Club (based out of Mount Vernon Iowa)

Where: Divisions played in the I-380 Corridor (includes Cedar Rapids Coralville Center Point and Mount Vernon Iowa)

Cost: $295 entry fee ($150 gate fee for all teams due prior to first game)

Early registration tournament discounts: Deduct $20 from entry fee and $20 from gate fee if registering prior to March 1 2012 for each tournament

Multiple tournament discounts:  if registering for both the Challenge and Bracket-Buster Global Sports NITs deduct an additional $25 from your Challenge entry fee!!

Four game guarantee—includes consolation games for all divisions

Eight or more teams entered per class — will split divisions (i.e. - AAA/Major split into separate AAA and Major divisions)

Bracketed pool play with all teams advancing to championship bracket

More than 90 teams participated in 2011 tournament—teams from IA IL MN WI

All USSSA Baseball rules apply—extra hitter may be used

Entry deadline 10 days prior to tourney—limited to eight teams per division

Player trophies for 1st and 2nd place teams in each division

Individual medals awarded to ‘Cornshucker All-Tournament Team’

Portable mounds for 10U-14U and baseballs provided for all games

Certified umpires used

USSSA sanctioned— 8 years tournament experience
