ALL GAMES PLAYED AT YOUTH SPORTS COMPLEX 6501 W 20th Street Greeley Colorado 80634 USSSA By-Laws and Rules will be in effect with the following specifics: (1)A coin flip at home plate will determine home team in pool play; the higher seed will receive home team status in single elimination. (2)Games will consist of 6 innings or 1 hour 45 minutes. Mercy rules are: 15 runs after 3 innings; 8 after 4. (3) There will be 2 hour time limit for the championship game and mercy rules will apply. Home team will be decided by coin flip in championship game. (4) USSSA pitching limitations will be enforced: 6 innings max in one day; 9 for tournament. THERE IS NO PITCHER RE-ENTRY. (5) Pool play games may end in a tie if time limit is reached. Tied pool play with time left but have reached the inning limit and single elimination games forced into extra innings will use the following tie-breaker: 1st extra inning - the last out of the previous inning will be placed on 2nd base with no outs. 2nd and subsequent extra innings the last two outs of the previous inning will be placed on 2nd and 3rd with no outs. (6) Coaches must have possession of a copy of each player’s birth certificate. (7) It is the responsibility of each coach to verify and sign the official scorecard at the conclusion of each game. This card must be picked up from the concession stand before every game lineup completed by both teams before game time--Then given to the umpires before the start of the game.
