| Team Managers/Players - The USSSA 16U State Championship bracket play is now available on usssa.com web site. All 16U State games except Pool C Games will be played at Forest Hills Diamods on Forest Hills Rd in Loves Park IL. Pool C Games will be played just north of Forest Hills Diamonds at the Harlem Sports Complex. Go to usssa.com - Softball Complex -Illinois- Forest Hills Diamonds or Harlem Sports Complex for directions. World Series berths will be awarded at this tournament so be prepared to confirm with entry fee of $450 and the World Series Entry Application Form which can be downloaded at usssa.com. Some teams may have already qualified so ask your Tournament Director if you are seeking a World Series berth. In Pool Play & Bracket Play no new inning will begin after 1 hour and 20 minutes. Pool Play can end in a tie. International tie breaker in bracket play. Championship game will play 7 innings no time limit. Mercy Rule: 10 runs after 3 innings/8 after 4/6 after 5 innings. Please have your team ready to play 30 minutes prior to scheduled game time. We will start early if running ahead of schedule. A coin flip will determine Home Team in Pool Play. Higher Seeded Team will be Home in Bracket play. Bracket seeds will be determined by points from Pool Play. 2 points for a win/1 point for a tie. Criteria for Seeding bracket play; #1 Best Record #2 Head to Head #3 Least amount of runs given up #4 Runs scored (with a maximum of 8 runs per game) #5 Flip of coin. Home Team is the Official Scorekeeper and the Visitors must provide someone for the electronic scoreboard. Bracket play will begin immediately following Pool Play on Saturday. Consolation Play will begin at 9am on Sunday with finals at 1:30pm. A 3rd place play off game in the Single elimination tournament will be held at 3pm. Please bring your printed roster from ISTS with all required signatures. All teams must check in with the Tournament Director at the complex prior to first game. There is a full concession stand and a bowling alley for cooling off during the day. One large cooler per team with water and fruit only will be allowed into either facility. Coolers will be checked so please let your fans know. This will be a very hot weekend so be safe and keep hydrated and drink lots of water. 4 World Series berths awarded.
