| Florida USSSA Fastpitch uses the following criteria to determine seeding: 1) Winning Percentage (Win = 2 points Tie = 1 point Loss = 0 points) NOTE: 2 Ties = 1 Win (Florida USSSA Fastpitch) At this time the USSSA online system does not recognize 2 Ties as the equivalent of 1 Win; Florida USSSA does 2) Head-to-head if 2 teams are tied with same winning % No head-to-head when 3 or more teams are tied in seeding *Exception: If 3 teams are tied with identical records and one team beats BOTH teams that team would seed higher than the other two teams due to head-to-head. 3) Fewest Runs Allowed 4) Most Runs Scored 5) USSSA Points 6) Coin flip Florida USSSA Fastpitch does NOT use average run differential with a maximum of (8) as indicated on the USSSA online system Florida USSSA Fastpitch does NOT use Date Team Entered USSSA Database as indicated on the USSSA online system |
 NOTE: The "new" season (2016) runs from August 1 2015 through July 31 2016. To enter events teams must sanction for the 2016 season. Florida USSSA Fastpitch uses ODD-NUMBERED AGE GROUPS in the Fall.
