| COME TO AMARILLO FOR A QUALITY SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT. THIS IS ONE OF OUR AREAS BEST EVENTS. WE WILL HAVE A TEAM CHECK IN WITH COMPLIMENTARY BEER PROVIDED BY BUDWEISER AND THE BUD GIRLS ALONG WITH FUN EVENTS LIKE HOMERUN DERBY TUG A WAR AND OTHER COMPETITION FOR CASH PRIZES. TEAMS CAN EITHER PLAY IN THE COMPETITIVE DIVISION WITH NO ROSTER RESTRICTIONS OR SIGN UP IN THE E DIVISION WITH ABSOLUTELY NO C HISTORY PLAYERS(NO EXCEPTIONS) AND NO MORE THAN 2 D HISTORY PLAYERS. HISTORY WILL BE FOR BOTH 2011 & 2012 ROSTERS. PLAYERS WITH C HISTORY THAT ARE VERIFIED BY THEIR AREA DIRECTORS AS NOT BEING A C PLAYER CAN STILL PLAY ON THEIR E TEAMS. THIS EVENT IS A 3 GAME GUARANTEE FORMAT. COMPETITIVE DIVISION WILL PLAY BY C RULE WITH THE ONE UP RULE AFTER. Homerun Rule – Each team will start every game with 2 homeruns. After both teams have hit their allowed number of 2 homeruns the 1 up homerun rule will go into effect. 1 up Homerun Rule – Any homerun hit before both teams hit their initial 2 homerun’s will be an out. Once both teams have hit their allowed 2 homeruns the team that hit their second homerun last will be allowed to hit another one. Once that happens the other team can hit 2 and on and on until the last inning. During the final inning of play the visiting team will be allowed to start the inning and hit 1 homerun however when the home team comes to bat they will only be allowed to hit one homerun. They will not be allowed to go 1 up on # of homeruns hit. If the game goes into extra innings each team will only be allowed to hit 1 homerun per extra inning; however the visiting team will have to hit a homerun in order for the home team to be allowed the same option. ALL OF OUR EVENTS WILL BE OFFICIATED USING A ONE MAN SYSTEM WHICH IS SUCCESSFUL IN A LOT OF AREAS. THE MAIN REASON FOR THAT IS WHEN YOU PAY AN UMPIRE TOP DOLLAR; YOU CAN DEMAND THE BEST AND EXPECT PROFESSIONALISM. ALL UMPIRES WILL BE TRAINED IN THE ONE MAN SYSTEM AND WILL WORK A MAXIMUM OF 6 GAMES. THIS WILL GIVE YOU A FRESH UMPIRE INSTEAD OF A CREW THAT HAS WORKED WAY TO MANY GAMES AND CAN’T BE EFFECTIVE. WE ALL KNOW IT’S HARD TO GET GOOD UMPIRES BUT THE ONE MAN CREW HELPS SOLVE THAT PROBLEM. WE HAVE ALSO ELIMINATED THE SPECTATORS GATE FEE SO EVERYONE CAN COME ENJOY THE GAMES. ALCOHOL WON’T BE ALLOWED INSIDE THE COMPLEX’S BUT WE ARE STILL GOING TO ALLOW PARTICIPANTS TO HAVE IT OUTSIDE THE GATES. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE YOU WITH A QUALITY EVENT THAT WILL KEEP YOU COMING BACK FOR MORE. COME SEE US IN 2012. ALL TEAMS ROSTERS MUST BE ONLINE BY 5:00PM ON THURSDAY BEFORE EACH EVENT. WE REQUIRE TEAMS TO PURCHASE SOFTBALLS AT CHECK IN. THEY ARE ONLY $5.00. WE WILL USE THE BUCKET BEHIND HOME PLATE WHERE BOTH TEAMS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE 2 GAME BALLS PER GAME. UMPIRES WILL USE BALLS OUT OF BUCKET RANDOMLY. NO ALCHOL OR PETS WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE ANY OF THE COMPLEX'S.
