| Come be part of a new era in Amarillo Softball. We are working towards a goal of providing participants with a well run quality event. We will be looking for feedback from teams and spectators on ways to improve for future events. Awards for this event will be as follows. 1st place in each division: Paid entry into another one of our events Miken bat and 1 dzn Worth balls. 2nd place in each division: Miken bat and 1 dzn Worth balls. 3rd place in each division: Miken bat. All 1st-3rd place teams will also receive individual awards from Coors and each 1st place team will be awarded MVP prize. Divisions will be as follows: Mens-C & D teams will be bracketed together following C rules. C teams will spot D teams 3 runs per game. E teams will play following the E rule. Women- All classes will be bracketed together following C rule. C teams will spot D/E teams 3 runs per game. We will also use a system used in many other venues in an attempt to eliminate bats and balls from being tampered with. There will be a bucket that bats are placed in after inspected and pass USSSA requirements.These will be the only bats allowed for that game. If a player is caught using a different bat the game will be a forfeit and the player will be suspended for the remainder of tournament. If a pitcher is hit by a batted ball on the infield we will request the bat be turned over to be sent in for testing. If owner of bat refuses he will be suspended for the tournament and possibly additional tournaments. Also teams will be required to purchase balls at check in. No other balls will be allowed for play. We will sale them at a really good price so teams can purchase additional balls if needed. All teams will need to do team check in a minimum of 30 minutes before their first game of the tournament.
