| The 16U USSSA Class A State Championship Pool Play will be combined with the 18U "A" State teams. 2 games of Pool with the 18U and the 16A teams will compete in their own Double Elimination tournament. Go to tournament #668560 under No. IL 16A & 18A Pool Play for State (18U Open). Pool results will not be used for seeding into the 16A State but USSSA Diamond Crushers and Dirt Devils will be seeded #1 and #2 based on USSSA National Ranking Points. Pool Play starts at 10am on Saturday June 26 and bracket play begins at 4pm on Saturday. The tournament format may be subject to change if needed due to inclement weather. Pool play game lengths will be no new inning to start after 1 hour and 15 minutes and 1 hour and 20 minutes in bracket play. Pool play games can end in a tie. International tie breaker if game is tied in Bracket play (excluding Championship). Mercy Rule: 10 after 3 innings/ 8 after 4 innings/ 6 after 5 innings. Please have your team ready to play 30 minutes prior to scheduled game. A coin flip will determine Home Team in Pool Play. Higher Seeded Team will be the Home Team in Bracket play. Coin Flip in Championship games. Bracket Seeds are already pre-determined by USSSA National Ranking Points as of June 21. If you do not hear from the Tournament Director you must be at the fields ready to play at 30 minutes prior to your scheduled game time. Only ONE small personal cooler per person will be allowed into the Sportscore Complex. Water coolers will be provided in each team’s dugout.
