This is the first in the series of round robin tournaments in the month of July offering the team (one in the C/B division and one in E/D division) with the most USSSA rankings points earned in this series a paid entry into the 2005 USSSA State Championships and a set of Worth Bat Bags - (pro-rated on a minimum average of 6 teams per bracket for the series) There will be 8 tournaments offered in the series for each level of play - competitive (C/B) and recreational (E/D). On Saturday evenings the tournaments will be played at the NM SportsCenter and on Sunday mornings the tournaments will be played at the Rio Rancho Sports Complex. Each tournament will offer a minimum of 3 games for each team with the possibility of as many as 6 games depending upon the number of teams in each bracket and site. Double points will be awarded to teams playing in brackets where a higher class team is also playing. In addition to the grand prize awarded at the end of the tournament series weekly prizes will be given to the 1st place and 2nd place team in each bracket (min 8 teams per bracket). 1st - 1 dozen softballs and 2nd 1/2 dozen softballs. 2 - homeruns in the E/D division and 4 homeruns in the C/D division. Teams will hit their own USSSA approved Distance or Elite softballs. To be eligable for the Grand Prize teams must have competed in a minimum of 2 of the 8 tournaments.
